Nick (6-4) @ Steve (6-4) –29

I honestly cant believe I’m goin to start Plummer again this week after he lost it for me last week and Rivers (my 14th round draft pick btw) went off.  The Broncos play the Chargers this week in a battle of 7-2 division rivals.  I feel like the Broncos will win so I have to start the QB of the winning team but I may still switch it before the game.  Nick is in the midst of a 2 game losing streak and like I pointed out last week could potentially miss the playoffs if he loses out.  For my sake I’m hopin Chad Johnson (52 points) and Donte Stallworth (27 points) don’t have weeks like last week.

Pick: Anyone else notice I have picked myself every week???

Tim (7-3) @ Keith (9-1) –17

Keith has only averaged 266 points in the last 3 games where he’s gone 2-1.  He certainly looks vulnerable in this late season match-up of perennial playoff contenders.  Tim has averaged 290 points in his last 3 games, all wins, despite being to busy too come up with a clever team name.  Tim’s team has been anchored by Steven Jackson (35 ppg in the last 3 weeks) even though his mother didn’t know how to spell Stephen.  Keith needs a big day from LJ who faces the Oakland defense that was successful in slowing down the Broncos run game last week.  I see this one bein a nailbiter that comes down to Tim’s defense (Jacksonville) on Monday night as the face-off with the G-Men

Pick: Keith

Phil (0-10) @ Johnny (4-6) –150

I’m no longer writing anything about Phil’s RBs and how the could upset somebody.  Especially cause Portis is out with a hand (as Al Michaels would say), McGahee is out with a set of ribs and Tatum Bell has multiple turf toes.  He might not break 100 points this week.  So I say Johnny makes it interesting and gives everybody $20 if he loses or he just retires from ff at the conclusion of the season.

Pick: Johnny…who I’m going to see tomorrow nite…I’m so excited

Jaffe (1-9) @ Billy (7-3) –125

Game of the Week

Steveo (5-5) @ Matt (5-5) –25

Playoffs, PLAYOFFS, PLAYOFFS!!!!!!  Big things can change in the playoff picture here which is why it’s the game of the week.  Matt Peitz (who is currently wanted for vehicular manslaughter) matches up well with Steveo.  Despite having identical records Matt has 130 points more on the season and has topped the 300 mark twice while Steveo’s squad hasn’t yet.  Steveo is comin off a big win against a superior team (steve clarks team) and looks to keep the momentum goin while keeping Johnny (his least favorite person in the world) out of the playoffs.  In recent weeks Matt’s QBs (Palmer and Bulger) have led the way but face a strong (NO) and an overrated (Carolina) defense this week.  Alexander makes his return this week for Steveo.  Yahoo! says hes not playing the whole game but will be on in goal line situations so we may have a Bettis affect on the game.

Pick: Matt
