Phil (0-7) @ Steve (4-3) -90.5

I’ve got a good week to get Philbert who is missing Portis and Mcgahee on byes.  As a matter of fact my team seems to think the same thing.  Apparently this week Urlacher bought partial ownership of a arena football team and Al Wilson (no relation Keith that I am aware of) is listed as questionable due to a thumb injury.  From yahoo! Sports: “Oct 25 Denver Broncos LB Al Wilson (thumb) is probable for the Week 8 game.”  God that’s funny.  Unfortunately, my #1 WR (and #4 in the league in WR points) is on a bye this week.  That’s right…Wes Welker.  The guy everyone was talking about picking up at Keith’s house during the first game of the season but I actually did it.  So I’m not making myself the first 100 point favorite but I see myself putting 300+ on the board this week.

Pick: Gotta go with myself ofcourse

Steve Sidenote:  I made a trade last week in my other league.  I gave away Edge and Losman and got Thomas Jones and Deion Branch.  I think it was a steal just seein what anyone else thinks.

Jaffe (1-6) @ Tim (4-3) -38.5

Look out folks.  Jaffe has apparently come to life after his first win last week.  He’s even updated his roster.  Tim is coming off a Jaffe-like performance last week and needs to bounce back.  Jaffe’s got some good looking RBs with Tiki and Thomas Jones.  Both teams have crummy QBs but Jaffes are facing poor defenses (Oakland, Cleveland) and Tims are facing solid defenses (New Orleans, New York Giants).  Still I think Jaffe beating Tim would be a sign of a fantasy football apocalypse.

Pick: Timmy

Nick (5-2) @ Johnny (3-4) -17.5

Yes.  You read that right.  Johnny is the favorite here and I’ll give u some reasons why:

a.)                Nick is starting Tony Romo

b.)                Despite the record differences Johnny has only 9.18 points (1.31 points per week) less then Nick

c.)                Did I mention he’s starting Romo???

I doubt Johnny is going to get the performance he got out of Barber last week (36 points), but I think he’s got it this week.

Pick: Johnny

Steveo (3-4) @ Keith (7-0) -34.5

Keith has been dominating the league thus far (and the team names I might add).  Steveo has been a lost cause this season.  Steveo has Grossman going this week against the 9ers so that should be worth 40+ points right there.  Keith’s big dawgs have some tough match-ups this week: L.J. vs. Bill’s Birds, Brown vs. a pissed of Jacksonville.

Pick: Steveo

Matt (3-4) @ Billy (5-2) -48.5

Bill is lucky enough to be hosting the “worst team in the league with an attentive manager” this week.  Just playing Matt…I love u.  I’m thinking Willie Parker is going to have himself a day in Oakland so that Big Ben doesn’t get his bell rung, again.  Hope you had as much fun reading that sentence as I had typing it.  Bill also has Steve Smith who is hosting T.O. (who happens to be on Matt’s team) this week and you know he loves showing up his former JuCo teammate.  Bright spot for Matt is Chicago’s D which can go off playing the 9ers after a bye week.

Pick: Billy
